I am a licensed clinical psychologist (#31984) based in Los Angeles, CA.  I specialize in helping people live more present and successful lives and heal from depression, anxiety, body image concerns, self-esteem issues and much more. I also have extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate transition periods in life.

I have a strong background in the treatment of eating disorders and have worked in across levels of care from inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient programs.

I was born in LA and spent my childhood between the LA area and England.  Outside of work I love to cook, travel, try new restaurants, hike, and read.  You can also find me outside playing with my dog on the beach or hiking local trails.  Maybe one day she'll be a therapy dog!

 

Education and Background

I received my Masters and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University in Chicago. I received bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Human Development from the University of California, San Diego.

I completed training at the University of Illinois at Chicago, University of Chicago, Eating Recovery Center, UC San Diego, and UCLA.  I  also spent several years employed as a staff psychologist at UCLA working primarily with student athletes.
